Loved the food and the nice view, service in general was great, but the waiters could be a lot more personable.

One of the highlights of my most recent trip to Istanbul. Brilliant service and hospitality provided at the restaurant. Great location within the Shangri La hotel. The food was amazing, I recommend the prawn sushi and lamb chops. It was my wife’s birthday and the staff went out of their way to make it extra special. Sinem, Ali and Ugur were great.

The restaurant offers a mixture of Asian food, traditional Turkish dishes, and modern cuisine (steaks, burgers, sandwiches, etc). The interior is rich and elegant. There is outdoor seating with heating. The service is polite as you would expect from a place like this. Food is well prepared and delicious, portions were bigger than expected. The prices are at the higher range. The terrace has a direct view at the Bosphorus, so it is worth it. I would give it 4.5 stars overall.

Ist Too is located in the luxurious Shangri-la hotel but anyone can enjoy this international restaurant. It was a nice break from the Turkish flavors and the food was quite good. I had the IST TOO burger with fries. The fries were some of the best I have ever had, especially within turkey. Seasoned well and perfectly crispy. My sister is allergic to gluten (gluten free and celiac) so she ordered the beef tenderloin. The manager said that the mashed potatoes could have gluten in them so she could not have them. We asked for no side then but the potatoes were served on the plate anyways which is dangerous. She ate the beef and lucky it wasn’t touching the mashed potatoes so it was fine. The ravioli were great! The sauce was a tomato cream sauce and it was served with cheese to top the food on the side. The life was okay, I would not order it again. Go to one of the local Turkish places for one. Overall the food is good and the ambiance is beautiful as it is right on the water, they just were not as careful as we would have liked with our gluten free allergy request.

Very nice interior. The service of the staff and food were good. However, even though it wasn't so crowded, no one came to have my order in 15 min.

All you can eat sushi is stale and the options are boring and very limited. 4 adults and the waiters were almost shocked that we kept asking for more. Very overpriced. Food was 35 mins late. Best thing about the restaurant is the view.

Very elegant restaurant with very high class knife forks and spoons made of silver the open Buffet is fantastic everything you may expect is there with a very fine Touch of Elegance and luxury the prices are affordable the location is outstanding. The atmosphere is Royal. At evening there's people singing and playing very nice music while you are having your dinner. Strongly recommend this place.
